Design thinking is a problem-solving approach that puts the needs and perspectives of the end users first and seeks to empathize with them in order to arrive at innovative solutions to complex problems.

It is a human-centred approach to innovation that draws on techniques from a range of disciplines including psychology, design, engineering, and business.

Design thinking typically involves the following steps: empathize with users, define the problem, ideate potential solutions, prototype, and test.

This iterative process helps ensure that the solution being developed is grounded in a deep understanding of the user's needs and is tested and refined through iteration.

The ultimate goal of design thinking is to develop innovative solutions that are both desirable from the user's perspective and feasible from a technical and business perspective.
